The annual Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Festival 2018 welcomed 30,000 winter sports fans through the doors at Battersea Evolution – a Smart Venue – from 24th-27th October, and it did not disappoint.

The annual Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Festival 2018 welcomed 30,000 winter sports fans through the doors at Battersea Evolution – a Smart Venue – from 24th-27th October, and it did not disappoint.
Each year the festival takes over our exclusive 14,000m² site, using the space both indoors and outdoors to its absolute maximum. The sheer size allows show attractions such as a 50ft kicker for professionals to take to the slopes (with real snow!) to show off their latest tricks, as well as a vintage ferris wheel and a selection of exhibitors – and that’s just outside.
With an impressive 140 exhibitors in total this year, the remaining were based inside, alongside the pop-up Crystal Ice Rink and the Snow & Rock-Climbing Wall.
What Else Was Available?
Visitors to the 2018 Festival were also offered the chance to sit back and relax inside with views over the kicker, ‘Mount Battersea’, with a dedicated après bar on the mezzanine run by our very own in-house caterers, Smart Hospitality.
