About Landing Forty Two
Located at the very top of the Leadenhall Building, Sat 500ft above the city’s streets in the heart of London’s financial district, Landing Forty Two is the city’s highest dedicated venue, offering 5,000 sq ft of event space with seriously breathtaking surroundings.
With a view of the capital’s skyline, capturing the River Thames and some of London’s most important landmarks, Landing Forty Two is a one of a kind space that is popular for dinners and parties and, thanks to a capacity of up to 300, you can throw both intimate and substantially sized events up in the skies.
Catering at Landing Forty Two
As a popular venue for sit down dinners, product launches and award evenings, food plays a big part in the celebrations hosted at Landing Forty Two. Luckily for those hosting events here, the catering is in very good hands.
Moving Venue are the dedicated caterers for this venue and, with their expertise being in luxury catering, the food they put on the menu perfectly matches the environment you’ll be dining in.
Able to provide a fantastic selection of dishes from canapés to 5-course meals, all using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, the food at Landing Forty Two is all about decadence, created using international influences and a plethora of modern cooking techniques.
Events at Landing Forty Two
As well as being available for exclusive hire for Christmas parties in December, Landing Forty Two is open all year round to stage a variety of different events and has spent the last year playing host to a range of different brands and businesses on their special occasions.
Within the first year of Moving Venue’s new partnership with the venue, Landing Forty Two hosted around 100 different events, kick-started by a launch party in which friends, colleagues and fellow industry professionals were invited for food and a look around the venue.
Shortly after, the venue hosted its first ever ‘Cinema in the Sky’ event for 130 guests in which Beauty and the Beast was screened and a popcorn station was designed especially for the occasion.
Showing the diverse range of events that can be catered for at Landing Forty Two, the venue also played host to an event by Clive Experiential Agency which had a bespoke menu served by Moving Venue and a fragrance wall installed by ‘Lick Me, I’m Delicious’.
Landing Forty Two offers a convenient location, situated close to public transport links such as Aldgate and Bank tube stations and London Fenchurch Street train station, as well as providing stunning skyline views, a modern interior, gourmet food and a purpose-built event space for up to 300 people.
